Raising Awareness
We can do all we can and more to help the environment, however if we don’t raise awareness of our efforts, the impact we have on society and the environment is only limited. We want to influence positive environmental changes onto our staff and our guests. Here are some reasons why:
- At Beds and Bars we want our staff to be responsible. With global warming statistics becoming more alarming every year, fostering environmental awareness has now become more important than ever before!
- Travellers from over 170 countries stay in our hostels every day, so by introducing the best practices we can wield a positive influence across the entire globe!
- We aim at setting a sustainability standard the whole hospitality industry will have to adhere to.
- We will celebrate a Love Your Planet Day once a year, during which we will go out on the streets to pick up litter and clean up parks and streets whilst interacting with the local community.
